New Staff, Who dis?

SAFA is proud to announce that we have brought on two new administrative staff members.  Michael, and Cassette the Corgi.

Both members have shown unwavering support, level headed actions, and went above and beyond to help the group thrive.  We will they will be a great fit to our community.   If you see them around, Say hello to them and get to know our awesome staff. We look forward to knowing our users just as much as we hope you get to know us!

Member count update!

A note from administration:  We've now reached an amazing number of users, totaling over 130!  We are excited to have each member join our community and be a part of an all-inclusive group, demonstrating the love and compassion for other people in the fandom. Let's make it another 70+ more members!

Woodsflock Spring Camp 2026 Cancelled?  What?....

We (WoodsFlock) unfortunately have to make the announcement that Woods Flock 2026: Camp Cosmic must be moved from this year, to 2027. We received word from Fall Creek Falls that due to an accident while renovating, they will not be able to reopen Newton Ford group lodge in time for our event. We have exhaustively checked other options that could suit our needs, but with this little notice there is simply no availability.

We sincerely apologize and hope y’all will still be on board for 2027, which is currently set for April 23-25 (early check-in 22nd, check out 26th) again at Newton Ford, Fall Creek Falls State Park. However, we will be looking into some potential backup options in the area since NF is an older venue.

We will still have a casual camping event the same weekend Woods Flock would have been at Fall Creek Falls (Eli Field), which would be free to attend as a small apology to our community for having to cancel the main camp.

We will get info on that out asap. Keep an eye out on Woodsflock's Events channel in The SAFA group, The official Woodsflock announcement group, or our events calendar on this website (will be added very soon!). Thank you for being part of our community and we are sorry to disappoint but hope you understand we had no option but to cancel. We look forward to the next time we can see you!

We are also still going to have Summer Splash and Fall Fest as usual, details forthcoming. Xavier The Bandicoot and Victor The Wolf will have an exciting announcement for the summer splash event.  So, Also keep an eye out for those details which will be released soon!

 

MISSION STATEMENT:

Our group is an all-inclusive group driven by it's members.  While we do have admins and other staff, We don't believe in running it based on a strong hierarchy. 

Instead, We rely on members, such as yourself, to run the group through what you want to see happen or what you want to do for monthly activities. 

From decisions we make internally to the events we do at our meets, We involve members to help us provide the group with the most interesting and fun experiences we can provide each month or in our chats!

We are excited you've decided to check us out, and invite you to dive in a little further. We'd love to have you as a part of our group, to make memories, and enjoy the company of our down-to-earth members.

We pride ourselves on having dynamic events.  Meaning, From one month to the next, you'll never know what shenanigans we will be into. Meet-ups and collaboration should be fun and that's our primary goal. We do it all, from camping, karaoke, playing pool, and more!
